Vacation

It is already close to end of month.....oh well
Bryan took a week vacation from work, so that we did few things as a family this week!!

1. We went to Phoenix Zoo.
2. We did cultivate our garden
3. Daddy and kids had a backyard camp night
4. We went to drive in theater
5. We did egg hunting with friends

All these things were fun and children had fun spent time with daddy.

I'm very happy about garden. Because, It is become more big and better soil for next plants.
Bryan and Yoshi tilled the ground with tiller this time. They worked really hard....thank you!!

Oh, I almost forgot about our most funniest happenings this week in my family.
It was about my husband.
He and my brother Yoshi made potato shooting machine and then Bryan got little burn on his forehead and he burnt his hair and his right side of eyebrow while he was tesiting the machine. It's not funny but he was okay so I would say "funniest happenings this week".

気づけば、もう３月も後半・・・。今週、ブライアンは一週間の有給休暇をとったので家族みんなでいろいろと楽しみました。

１、フェニックス動物園に行ってきました

２、菜園をさらに耕して広くしました

３、ダディーと子供たちは裏庭で夜だけのキャンプをしました

４、ドライブインシアターに行きました（車の中から映画を見る）

５、イースター（復活祭）の行事を友達と一緒にしました

どれも楽しかったし、特に子供たちはダディーと一緒に過ごせる時間がとても嬉しかった様子。

私は菜園がさらに大きく耕されて、大満足！！今回は耕すために機会を借りてきてブライアンとよしが一生懸命がんばってくれました。ありがとう！！

今週の一番最高の出来事はブライアンが髪の毛と右の眉毛を少し焼いてしまったこと。ジャガイモを銃の弾にしたパイプ銃を作り、そのテスト作業中に発火しておでこの軽いやけどと髪の縮れを作ったブライアン。かわいそうだけど、結果的にはちょっと笑える。（遊びでそうなったんだからね・・・）

The Garden

I saw the garden with "Daikon"(Japanese radish) in end of last November.

This is my first time to make a garden but it went pretty well, I think.

It was smaller than average Daikon but I'm so happy about that I didn't kill my Daikon.

I was good at killing my plants or flowers before.......
You see......If you know about Daikon, this is really tiny, but taste pretty good.
Kids were had fun with pull Daikons.

昨年の11月末に植えた大根が大きくなり、子どもたちと一緒に初の収穫をしました。普通の大根に比べるとすっーごく小さいけど、味はちゃんと大根です。

多分、土がやせている割に肥料が少なかったのが原因かな？？と思います。子供たちは大根抜きを楽しんでくれました。

私は、アメリカにいても日本の野菜がちゃんと作れるんだ！と独りで喜んでいます。
