Disney On Ice Princess Show

Aunt Jennifer took us to the Ice Princess show last saturday.

It was fantastic!!

Not only Emily but also Daniel and Kota were much impressed by this show.

　Emily's most favorite part was a cinderella dancing with prince.

Daniel's most favorite scene was a sleeping beauty's prince fought the Dragon. And big fire!!

Kota loved Mickey Mouse.

先週の土曜日にジェニファーがディズニー・プリンセスのアイススケーティングショーに連れて行ってくれました。

すごいショーだったよ！

えみりだけでなくダニエルもこうたもこのショーに大感激でした。

えみりの一番好きだったところはシンデレラが王子様とダンスするところ。

ダニエルの一番好きだったところはスリーピングビューティーの王子様がドラゴンと戦うところと、大きな火が出てきたところ。

こうたはミッキーマウスがだーい、だーい好きでした。

Emily's Birthday!!

Our princess Emily turned 4 in January 22nd.

We had her birthday party on January 21st. We went to McCormick-Stillman RailRoad Park.

Our best friend Potts Family went with us also.

Emily and other children had lots of fun at this park.

They road a train and carousel.

I had to go with Kota to him to ride a carousel and I got dizzy.

I don't think I want to ride carousel again........

Anyway It was very fun and here is a park web site.

In the evening we had a bithday cake and emily got some presents.

She was a "Happiest little Girl in the whole wide world!!"

1月22日はえみりの誕生日で彼女も4歳に！！

21日がちょうどブライアンも仕事が休みだったからこの日に誕生会をすることに。

一番仲の良いポッツ家族を誘って公園に行ってきました。

汽車とメリーゴーランドのある公園で子どもたちは大喜び！？

こうたは保護者同伴でないと乗り物に乗れなかったのでメリーゴーランドに付き添うことに・・・。

私：目が回って気分が悪くなる・・・・・次はダディーに付き添ってもらうぞ。

こうた：半分楽しみ、半分こわがる・・・。

えみりはプリンセスになった気分だったらしく大満足！

夕方、家でバースデーケーキを食べて誕生日プレゼントをもらったえみりは「世界一幸せ！」な女の子でした。

The leaves

We have trees in our backyard. One of the trees' leaves fell all over the yard.

It seems like that there is no end to clean up those leaves.....

But, our kids loved to play in the pile of leaves.

They were happy to rake the leaves together and jump into the pile!!

It was so much fun for them they didn't want to dump the leaves in a trash can.

我が家の裏庭には3種類の木があって、そのうちの一つが紅葉しました。

そして今、裏庭は落ち葉だらけ・・・

掃除をしてもまた次の日には新たな落ち葉が・・・

きりがない・・・

でも、子供たちは落ち葉に大喜び！！　喜んで落ち葉をかき集めてきて落ち葉の山を作ってる。

そして・・・ちょっと助走をつけてから落ち葉の山に飛び込みっ！！ていうかんじで遊んでいる。

子どもは落ち葉をゴミに出すのをすごく嫌がっていたけど・・・

私たち父と母は「遊べてよかったねー」とお構いなしにゴミ袋へ・・・

Happy New Year!!

"Akemashite Omedeto Gozaimasu" which means "Happy New Year" in Japanese.

We had a chance to visit Grandpa Simmons Family who lives in Colorado last week.

It was a very long trip to get there with three little children.

It took 17hours to get there but coming back was only 13hours.

There was a lot of snow in Colorado.

Daniel was very excited to play in the snow and play with his cousin Deandre.

Emily loved to play with snow but 5-8min later she started crying because it was too cold for her.

Kota enjyoed playing in the snow untill he froze his hands.

Grandpa and Grandma took us to an aquarium in Denver. Deandere, Aunt Vanessa and Erica went with us also.

It was a first time for our kids to go to aquarium. They had a wonderful experience there.

　Next day we visited Kumiko's friend. It was very nice to see them.

Next time, I would like to visit them in summer or fall.

Our kids were sick in New Years Eve. They were throwing up and Daniel and Kota had a fever.

It was'nt so much fun.

They got better today but they were laying down most of the day.

I went to Jennifer's house (she is my sister in law). She taught me how to make original clock.

She is very good at scrapbooking and crafts, decorations and so on. She is my "Sensei".

It was fun day for me.

”明けましておめでとうございます。”

我が家は先週コロラドに住むブライアンの父の家族の所に遊びに行ってきました。行きは17時間ぐらい、帰りは13時間ぐらいの道のりでした。小さな子どもを連れて車での旅は結構大変・・・。飛行機に乗って日本に帰るのとそんなに変わらないかも？？

アリゾナの冬は秋と同じ、それに慣れすぎたのか、コロラドの雪は・・・すーっごい寒かった・・・。

ダニエルはいとこのディアンドレーと雪遊びを楽しみまくっていた・・・なんとうらやましい奴。

えみりは最初の5-8分は雪遊びを楽しむが・・・その後、寒さのせいで「I want to go home!」と言って泣きだしてしまう・・・。

こうたは手が凍えるまではずーっとマイペースで遊び続けてたなぁ。

おじぃちゃん、おばぁちゃんがデンバーにある水族館へ連れて行ってくれる！！　ブライアンの妹のバネッサとエリカ、そしてディアンドレーもいっしょに水族館へ。

我が家の子供たちは水族館へ行くのは初めてで、とても楽しんでいた。

くみこはコロラドに住む友人宅を訪問し、久しぶりに友達に会えて大満足！！

でも、今度コロラドに行く時は夏か秋にしたいなー。

大晦日は子どもたちが風邪をひき、ダニエルとこうたは熱も出て嘔吐もありちょっと大変だった・・・。

年が明けた今日、子供たちはだいぶ良くなったけどほとんど一日横になっていることが多かったかな。

私は義理の妹のジェニファーの家に行き、クラフトを楽しんでやってきちゃった。（その間ブライアンが子どもたちを見てくれてた）

ジェニファーは手先が器用で、スクラップブックやデコレーション、クラフトがすごく上手！！彼女はわたしの師匠と言える存在。

ちょっとだけと思って行ったけど結局4時間半ぐらいずっと彼女のところにいてしまった・・・。

今日は自分のやりたいことをしてすごした一日でした。
