Emily Birthday Album 2009

Birthday Princess

It was Emily's 5th birthday today.
She was born in Japan and it was snowing outside.
Her older brother Daniel who was 15month old had a running nose and cough at that time.
Then....She was hospitalized about a week when she was only one week baby because she got a pneumonia.
I was very scared and worried about her so much.
I couldn't do anything special for her but I only could do was a stayed with her side and watch her to recovering from her sickness.(It made me tired both physically and mentally.)
I'm so lucky to have her and she is one of my special one.
Happy birthday Emily. 今日は娘のえみりの5歳の誕生日でした。
えみりは日本で生まれました。生まれた日、外では雪が降る寒い日でした。
兄であるダニエルはこのとき15ヶ月で、風をひいて鼻水と咳がでていました。
そして・・・えみりは生後1週間の若さで肺炎になり、1週間ほど入院しました。
母親として、小さい赤ちゃんに肺炎を患わせてしまった・・・という申し訳なさや自分ではどうにも治してあげられない力のなさに落ち込んでどうしようもない気持ちの中でただできることは、そばにいて見守ってあげていることでした。
そのえみりも無事5歳になりとても嬉しく思っています。
えみり、誕生日おめでとう。

Anniversary

January 4th was our 7th anniversary but we couldn't do anything special, because we were sick.
So,we celebrated our anniversary yesterday.
Bryan and I went to US Airways-center to watch Sun's game (great seats too!). Sun's lost their game but it was great. If we have a chance, we definitely wanna go there again.
I feel that 7 years are short but we did and had lots of things include good and not so good.
Anyway,I just want to say....
I'm thankful for my dearest husband Bryan who loves me so much and everything he does for me and the children.
I'm thankful for that we have three special children Daniel,Emily and Kota.
I'm thankful for that we were married in the Temple and our family can be together forever.
1月4日は7回目の結婚記念日だったけど、家族みんなが風邪をひいて体調を崩していたので特に何もできませんでした。
それで、昨日結婚記念日のお祝いをしました。
ブライアント私はNBAのフィニックスサンズのゲームを見に行きました。サンズはこの日負けてしまったけど、すぐ近くでプロのゲームが見れてとても面白かった！機会があればまた見に行きたいです。
7年はすごく短かかったなーと感じるけど、いい事も、あまりそうじゃない事も含めていろんな事があったし、いろんな事をしました。
でも、今一番言いたいことは・・・
私と子供たちのために夫のブライアンがしてくれるすべての事と、私のことを変わらずに愛してくれていることに感謝しています。
そして、ダニエル、えみり、煌大という特別な3人の子供たちを授かっていることに感謝しています。
また、福音を知っていることそして、私たちが神殿で結婚したことと、私たちが家族として永遠に一緒にいられることに感謝しています。

I got Green Belt!

Daniel completed and passed his test for Karate class on Monday.
He got a green belt!! (Well done, Daniel!!)
He is sooo happy! and we are proud of him.
He wants to continue to go to Karate-class next semester.
We are glad that he loves karate and has such a positive attitude.

月曜日、ダニエルは無事に最初の空手クラスのテストに合格して緑色のベルトをもらいました。
週に1回のクラスで、今学期一度も休まずに出席しました。
ベルトをもらったダニエルは大喜びです。何かを達成できたということでは親の私たちもとても嬉しく思っています。
次のクラスも絶対、参加したいと本人は言っています。
自分からやりたい！ということを見つけたダニエルはいつも輝いた目をしています。

P90X !!

Bryan started to do P90X work out!!

We've been married 7years and he gained some weight.(me too though...)

I'm looking forward to see 90days passing.

ブライアンがP90Xというエクササイズをやり始めました。（去年もちょっとやっていたけど、途中で体調を崩してからいつの間にかしなくなっていたんです）

結婚して7年の間に彼もなんだか体重が増えました・・・。（私も人のことは言えない）

90日後のブライアンを見るのが楽しみです。

頑張れ、ブライアン！！

Happy New Year and Wii Party!

We stayed up until midnight on New Years Eve.
Emily was sick and had a fever so she was just laying on the sofa. (poor Emily)
Bryan was kind of sick too, so he was just laying on the sofa sometime or playing with his laptop.
Kota, Daniel and I had fun with Wii !! We played Wii Sports.
Daniel and Kota had blast playing Wii boxing. Daniel sweat a lot!!
I was helping Kota but we couldn't beat Daniel. He was good at boxing.....and bowl.
We did bowl 3 or 4 times but I couldn't beat Daniel at all.
It was fun.

They were playing Mario kart. Daniel was crying after this picture because I helped Kota and we beat Daniel.

She was very sick and her fever(mostly 101 but highest was 104) didn't go down for 3days. Friday Morning she was crying and cryaing because her arm pit hurt so I took her to the Doctor on Friday and got antibiotics. Then she was feeling better in the evening. It was terrible for her to get sick but the good thing is ....she is better now.

大晦日は夜中まで起きていました。１２時になった時、除夜の鐘の代わりに家の外でパンパーンという花火の音を聞きました。子供たちは先に寝てしまうだろうと思っていたらゲームをしたりビデオを見たりしながら結局１２時近くまで起きていました。

ちなみに普段は8時がベッドタイムです。

えみりは風邪でしんどそーにしながらベッドは嫌だと言うので、ソファーの上で過ごしました。

ブライアンも風邪気味で、ソファーで横になったり、ラップトップで遊んだりしていました。

こうた、ダニエルと私はWiiで遊びました。二人は特にボクシングのゲームで盛り上がり、ダニエルは汗びしょびしょになっていました。

私とダニエルでボーリングの対決をしたら・・・なんと３，４回して全勝負ダニエルが勝ちました。（楽しかったけど、1回もダニエルに勝てなくてちょとくやしかった。）

えみりは薬を飲んでいてもほとんど熱が下がらず、38.8℃とか、最高で41℃の高熱が続き、金曜日の朝は脇が痛い！といってずっと泣くので病院に連れて行き、抗生物質をもらいました。夕方にはあっという間に熱も下がってご飯もたくさん食べられるようになりました。今ではだいぶ元気です、よかった。
